it gets very hot in kansas city this time of year.
this was obviously the coolest spot in the house.  even with the a/c on!
on the brighter side, the cucumbers are finally coming in...
one of our summer highlights!  we were able to pick our first one today.

here at leyna loves, there are certain products that we just can't live without.
pratima's love oil is one of them.  dr. pratima raichur is an ayurvedic skincare practioner
in new york who also has an amazing line of organic skincare products.  love oil is
an almond oil with lavender, rose, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom and clove.  it is
delicious and we LOVE it!

while the occasional slice of sunlight is helpful, the grey days make for good work days.
we are looking forward to opening our online shop very soon!
